- Frame saver, Problem Solver, is designed to replace the thread in your frame if you do not have a stand-alone replaceable mech hanger on your bike.
- Easy to fit, solving the problem of stripped threads quickly.
- Stripped threads on a rear derailleur hanger can sometimes be the end of your frame.This item is CNC MACHINED in two sizes 5mm or 7mm, each used depending on the thickness of your frames built in rear mech hanger.

The 5mm unit is for a 6mm frame thickness, and 7mm is for 8mm frame thickness. (See photos / diagrams)
- Drill out the hanger (built into your frame). You will need a M12mm drill (0.472″). Then insert this frame saver nut from the inside of the frame and then screw your rear derailleur directly into it from the outside.
